  • Provide and validate operational and maintenance requirements to the equipment specification and procurement processes
  • Participate in the commissioning and handover of new equipment, taking into account the activities required for preventative maintenance
  • Responsible for ensuring the equipment achieves the Availability and Performance components of OEE, consult on quality components with other manufacturing engineers
  • Perform repairs and replacements, software upgrades, coordinate technicians, suppliers, and contractors to do the same
  • Ensure data quality coming from the machines is consistent with production engineering requirements to manage SPC
  • Enable TPM to function within the factory IT systems
  • Verify functionality of SPC-based items such as alerts and reporting systems
  • Manage the critical spares inventory in partnership with the Maintenance planner
  • Ensure timely execution of all regularly scheduled maintenance and calibration activities
  • Be the first-responder in the event of unplanned shutdowns
  • Provide lessons learned and feedback to other industrial equipment teams, maintain issues management records
  • Design and steer the upgrades of existing equipment, lead continuous improvement activities on the systems
  • Acquire new minor equipment or tooling replacements following the equipment acquisition process
  • Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Several years of experience in equipment management in manufacturing Environments, automotive or high-volume aerospace (i.e. engines, serially produced systems) preferred
  • Mechanical design background with focus on manufacturing systems, work presentation systems
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Fluent english language skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to manage diverse portfolio of manufacturing equipment spanning fixtures and machines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various departments
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly
  • Ability to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure task completion
